Meet Dr. Jenny Nguyen

Jenny Nguyen, O.D. received her Doctor of Optometry from the University of the Incarnate Word’s Rosenberg School of Optometry in 2017, and earned her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Biology from the University of Houston. Dr. Nguyen is a native Houstonian and specializes in glaucoma, diabetic management, pediatric eyecare, specialty contact lenses, ocular disease, and dry eye care. She also manages pre- and post-operative care for patients who undergo cataract and LASIK surgery. Dr. Nguyen’s treatment philosophy is to educate patients about their health conditions, so they are best enabled to make informed decisions about their treatment regimen.

When Dr. Nguyen isn’t caring for patients, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, her dog, and she loves to travel. She is a big foodie who finds cooking to be therapeutic. She is always excited to try new dishes and recipes. Dr. Nguyen likes to stay healthy and fit by doing yoga and Pilates, and has been picking up new hobbies, such as water painting, pottery, and being a plant mom.
